Wondering how things work? Start here.

Our remote bookkeeping service keeps your books accurate and current. Depending on the package you choose, this covers recording and categorizing transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing monthly financial reports. You can add Verification and Job Costing for deeper accuracy and project-level insight. Every plan is handled by bookkeepers trained on QuickBooks and familiar with how restoration businesses actually operate.

Pricing is based on your monthly transaction volume, so you pay for what you actually need. We offer three standard tiers — 50, 100, and 200 transactions — each with a base bookkeeping rate and optional add-ons for Verification and Job Costing. As an example, the 50-transaction tier starts at $110 for bookkeeping, and a full package with both add-ons comes to $240. Custom pricing is available for volumes outside these tiers.

A transaction is any single financial entry money coming in or going out. That includes payments received, subcontractor and vendor bills, bank fees, and card charges. If you’re not sure which tier fits your volume, we’ll review a recent month with you during your free consultation and point you to the right package.

Verification means we cross-check each recorded transaction against your source documents, bank statements, receipts, and invoices so your books are accurate and ready for any review. Job Costing tracks the income and expenses tied to each individual job, giving you a clear picture of how profitable each restoration project actually is. You can add either or both to any package.

Custom pricing is available. If your volume is higher than 200 transactions, falls between tiers, or you need a specific combination of services, we’ll put together a package around your actual situation. Reach out for a quick quote and we’ll size it to your business.

Our bookkeepers are trained and experienced in QuickBooks. If you already use it, we’ll work within your existing setup. If you’re just getting organized, we’ll help you start on the right system from day one.

Yes. Many restoration companies start with a single remote bookkeeper handling their day-to-day books, then scale as they grow. As your volume or needs increase, we can move you to a higher tier, add services like Job Costing, or build out a full bookkeeping team without disrupting your existing records.

They are. Every Karma Staff bookkeeper completes 30 days of intensive training and works under experienced mentors before handling client books. They understand restoration-specific workflows, job costing, insurance billing, subcontractor documentation — so you get someone who already understands how your business runs.

Every bookkeeper is background-checked and bound by confidentiality agreements. We follow strict access controls so only authorized team members can view your information, and we work within your preferred secure software and file-sharing methods. We’re happy to walk through our full security practices during your consultation.

Book a free consultation and we’ll review your current bookkeeping setup, transaction volume, and goals. From there, we’ll recommend the right package, match you with a trained bookkeeper, and handle onboarding so your books are organized and current without a long ramp-up.
