Speaking about his business inspiration, Phil reflects, “My business partner (Tenzin Jigme), he is my mentor, and he’s somebody I looked up to… he kind of built the system our PuroClean is now.” This partnership was founded on mutual respect and shared vision, has been pivotal in the company’s success.

Drawing from his rich experience, Phil offers valuable advice to peers in the industry. “Just getting involved, get in touch with people who work around you,” he suggests, emphasizing the importance of staying connected and informed. He recommends going to PuroClean conventions and joining Facebook groups for restoration as ways to connect with others in the industry.

When it comes to building a team, Phil believes in a harmonious blend of skill and cultural fit. “I look for somebody who’s good with teamwork… to see if they fit right in the team,” he explains. This approach to team building, focusing on loyalty and teamwork, has been a cornerstone of his operational success.

When asked to come up with a dream team for his PuroClean company, without hesitation, he named Tenzin Jigme for business operations, Scott Sandal for sales and marketing, and Soepa as his lead technician. This trio exemplifies the ideal blend of expertise and commitment that Phil values in his team. Currently, Tenzin Jigme is Phil’s business partner, Scott Sandal has taken up the role of Vice President of Sales of PuroClean, and Soepa is actively serving as the lead technician.
